2024 10th Annual Wine Dinner Fundraiser!

We are so excited to celebrate our 10th annual wine dinner!
This annual fundraiser is focused on supporting teenagers battling all cancers especially through our Teen Support Bag program. These important support bags with teen-specific items have been given to almost 12,000 teenagers so far who deal with all kinds of cancer in every state and DC through our growing network of almost 200 hospitals across the United States.
Along with a dinner with complimentary red/white wine, there will be a silent auction, a live ask and a special keynote address given by our founder, Nikki.

Dave & Buster's Event for Teenagers with Cancer and Guests
January 20, 2024
Our first event for 2024 occurred during Teen Cancer Awareness Week, and it was a great success! We had so many families attend along with Nikki, her parents, and some of our devoted volunteers. Dave & Buster's of Fairfax provided free game cards and free food! Thank you the venue & management as well as our volunteers who made it happen! This was our 4th event at Dave & Buster's, and we look forward to another event there later this year!
9th Annual Wine Dinner Fundraiser
September 29, 2023
On Friday evening, September 29, 2023, we held our annual wine dinner event! Once again this event was held at Westwood Country Club in Vienna, VA. Our annual fundraiser focuses on supporting teenagers battling all cancers especially through our Teen Support Bag program.
We had more guests registered than ever! There was a silent auction and a live ask along with a few speakers. We raised over $40,000 during the evening and a total of $85,400 NET raised from holding this event! (The photo to the left is of most of our Board of Directors who attended.)
Dave & Buster's Event for Teens with Cancer and Guests

This 2nd event for 2023 was a big hit! We had about 50 guests in attendance, and it was wonderful to see everyone having such a good time. Thank you to Dave & Buster's in Fairfax for their ongoing generosity to provide free game cards and free food! Thank you to all our volunteers (including some of our Teen Support Committee and Board members) who came together to help!
Dave & Buster's Event for Teens with Cancer and Guests

A great event was held at Dave & Buster's in Fairfax, VA, for teenagers with cancer and their families/friends. Free food and free game cards were provided by Dave & Buster's (thank you GM Bill). About 40 guests attended and included teens with cancer, family members and friends. Thank you to our volunteers who came out in force to be of service!
8th Annual Wine Dinner Fundraiser

This is our largest fundraiser event each year!
Our Annual Wine Dinner is very popular and brings our community together to support our Teen Support Bag program. At our September 2022 event, we had over 200 guests in attendance; and we raised over $100,000!
There was an opening reception, a 3-course meal, red and white wines served all evening (no charge) and an onsite silent auction. Nikki will be the keynote speaker. Dress code is always business or cocktail attire. The event was held at Westwood Country Club, Vienna, VA.
The Suite Life with the Washington Nationals

These events are offered to supporters (for ticket purchases) and for families of teenagers with cancer (for free).
In a donated corporate suite, this is a unique opportunity to watch a Nationals game! Thank you to the National Association of Broadcasters for donating their suite.
Free Teen Fun and Games Event
July 30, 2022
Our first event for teenagers with cancer and their families/friends at Dave & Buster's was a huge success! We had an afternoon of fun and games with all guests receiving a free game card; and they also provided free food! (The manager is in the middle, next to Nikki, along with some of our volunteers.)
Attitude is Everything Virtual 5K
May 22, 2022
Bite Me Cancer held a virtual 5K run/walk event! Thank you to all who helped to raise well over our goal of $7,500 - $11,410 raised! Participants ran or walked anywhere they wanted to. There was a registration fee and sponsor opportunities. All participants were offered a Bite Me Cancer t-shirt and other gear. Nikki gave an emotional speech before dinner! We had 175 attendees and raised more money than ever before, over $90,000! Our silent auction and onsite "live ask" were both very successful. This event was held at Westwood Country Club, Vienna, VA.
"Attitude is Everything!" Virtual 5K
May 17-23, 2021
Bite Me Center held its first virtual 5K run/walk event this year! People ran or walked all over the country. There was a registration fee and sponsor opportunities, and participants received a t-shirt and other Bite Me Cancer gear. All funds went to our Teen Support Bag program.

Thank you to the National Association of Broadcasters for their suite! We were able to raise funds while also providing a fun event to many supporters and most importantly provide a 13th birthday party for a "new" teenager dealing with cancer and her friends!

A corporate suite was donated to Bite Me Cancer by the National Association of Broadcasters for 3 games. We sold tickets to raise funds. We also asked supporters to buy tickets to donate back to us so we could bring some families of teens with cancer so they could also enjoy some fun!
