April 2018 – Bite Me Cancer held its 5th Annual Wine Dinner on April 21, 2018, at the Chantilly National Golf and Country Club in Centreville, VA. More than 200 guests were in attendance, and the event enjoyed the coming together of many sponsors and cancer survivors. Speeches were given by founder, Nikki Ferraro, as well as two young adults who dealt with cancer as teenagers and a pediatric oncology nurse who treats teens in treatment for cancer. This year, there was onsite fundraising that included a silent auction and a “live ask”; and those funds went directly to the foundation’s Teen Support Program.
